What's your Personal Best?

Here's a little Fitness Challenge for you:

As part of your Beginner's and Intermediate Level Workout, you have 2 exercises to do:
  1. Squats
  2. Push-ups (either full push-ups or on your knees)
So do you dare to find out what your Personal Best is?
Do this:
Perform as many squats as you can without stopping
Perform as many push-ups (either version) as you can without stopping
Post your results in the comment window below!

Watch in the Video below how many Push-ups and Squats I managed today, just after lunch (My butt is still burning!):

  1. Hi, I managed to make 120 squats but only managed to do 20 push-ups (on my knees)!!!

  2. squats are way more easy than push ups for sure! :) however, one who is weaker in his legs and much stronger in his hands would prefer much more push ups than squats! :)

  6. Hi Richard; this morning I've managed to do 100 squats and 100 push-ups (on my knees) after trying full push-ups which I did 40! Then completed the daily exercises which include 60 mins on threadmill! ;)

  7. Today I did 47 push-ups (on my knees) and 75 squats. Will keep trying to better my record.

  10. Sorry forgot to post this before... on Friday I did 120 squats but didn't try the pushups! On Saturday and Sunday could feel the effect of the squats allover my thigh muscles! :)

  11. On Thursday i managed to do 100 squats at one go + around 20 push ups (on knees.

    Today i managed to do 2 rounds of the intermediate circuit and managed to do another 100 squats!!

  13. I'm doing squats using weights and I'm currently managing to do 8 repitions with 80 kg.

    As for push ups, I don't do them as I'm also using weights, mainly bench press, inclined press and declined press. My max. for bench press is 85kg for 7 repitions.

  18. thought i thought i will skip exercise tonight cause Im so sleepy and tired. but after reading this i tried and i made 100 squats, 20 pushups on knee, then 50 squats & 10 pushups on knee. eva

  19. I managed to do 30 knee pushups and 120 squats. I will try to improve on these.

  20. Managed to do 150 squats and just 35 push ups on knees...I will do more effort on the push next time. Good challange!!!

  24. Hi I managed to do 320 squats but only 30 knee push ups. A helpful way I found for the squats is by putting a broom stick on your shoulders and hold on to it keeping your back straight.

  29. Hi, I managed 320 squats and 30 knee push ups. A useful help for the squats was holding on to a broom stick placed on my shoulders. It really works cause it helps to keep your back straight.

  33. I managed to do 150 squats, 40 push ups on the knees and half an hour cross-trainer till now.. i will do a further half an hour of cross-trainer or even squats! feels great.

  36. Hi last week i managed to do around 60 squats and 20 push-ups on my knees but after all the squats and sat's training at geres gym, i still have my legs hurting... :) that means = good exercise !! I will try some more this week..good luck to all...and kp it up.

  41. i am impressed at reading the others result i only managed 38 squats and with persistance i may say and the push ups only 10....am i that unfit my go!! as for the other participants well done i really admire the fact that you all did so well
